Our Vision
Our aim at ConnEQtion is to create safe and trauma-informed environments for people to heal from trauma through equine-assisted therapy and education. We want to make these services accessible to everyone, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized communities, regardless of their ability to pay.
We believe every individual is valuable. They should have access to innovative, evidence-based therapies to support their healing. We also want to promote the ethical and humane treatment of horses from diverse backgrounds who need new roles. Our equine partners will be treated with the utmost care and respect as valuable therapeutic team members.
We will collaborate with researchers to evaluate the outcomes of our programs, promote evidence-based care, and advance the field of equine-assisted therapies. Our ultimate goal is to provide practical and ethical equine-assisted treatment education to those who need it most.
