Our Vision
Our aim at ConnEQtions is to create safe and trauma-informed environments for people to heal from trauma through equine-assisted therapy and education. We want to make these services accessible to everyone, especially to the most vulnerable and marginalized communities, regardless of their ability to pay.
We believe that every individual is valuable and precious, and they should have access to innovative and evidence-based therapies to support their healing. We also want to promote the ethical and humane treatment of horses from diverse backgrounds that are in need of new roles. Our equine partners will be treated with the utmost care and respect for their overall well-being.
We will work in collaboration with researchers to evaluate the outcomes of our programs, and to promote the use of evidence-based care and the field of equine-assisted therapies. Our ultimate goal is to provide effective and ethical equine-assisted therapy and education to those who need it most.
